Just so you know, everything you read on this page, I would rather have said as if I was sitting right next to you talking to you as a human being. Probably with a little more colorful language. But because I can’t, and this is a website, and I have to be somewhat responsible, wherever you think there was or should have been a swear word, just know it probably was in my head too and wish I could say it on this platform.
No tour in the military is the same, and neither should be your marketing. Stop being the same as everyone else in your industry. Your website is not a brochure. Your story is not some ho-hum generic run of the mill story either, so please stop making it work or look like one. You’re a veteran. You’re the cream of the crop. You’re the person people go to when they need someone. It’s built or beaten into your DNA from day 1. It’s time to put some swagger back into your business and act like it.
Whenever I meet or share with small business owners, I say the key to unlocking your brand and gaining the customers you want for your business is to finally become the person you want to be in your business. Small business is not corporate business. So stop acting like it. Your customers are people that live in your community, not shareholders you have to answer to.
